California APIC Foundations of Infection Prevention course

We encourage all California infection preventionists early in their careers to attend our three-day Foundations of Infection Prevention course.  The next course is scheduled for November 15-17, 2018.  It will be held at the Scripps Health Corporate Offices, Building CPC (Annex) Assembly Conference Room located at 10010 Campus Point Drive, San Diego, CA 92121.  Registration information is below.

The California APIC Coordinating Council’s “Foundations” program is a long-standing tradition in California.  Designed for the new and intermediate Infection Preventionist in all healthcare settings, it is recognized as the gold standard for infection prevention education in California.

Taught by expert faculty, Foundations focuses on Infection Prevention issues surrounding the patient and the environment, as well as administrative, regulatory and educational issues. This program helps define the areas required in a comprehensive infection prevention program. It provides 24 CEUs to attendees.
