“Reconnect & Rejuvenate”
Purpose
APIC chapters Inland Empire & San Diego/Imperial County will provide infection preventionists and healthcare professionals with the latest information and innovations in Infection Prevention. This program will explore infection control and epidemiology across the continuum of care. This program will feature and celebrate our profession and experiences from the pandemic that have galvanized us in our shared mission to provide safe patient care by preventing and controlling infections.
What We Know & Rules of Participation
In-Person Participant: Will have a 100 capacity-limited, first-come, first-serve in-person event. Indoor hall with program. Catered lunches and mimosas, a spatially-aware vendor floor, door prizes, and in-person 5 to 6 speaker faculty with Q & A. Must be fully vaccinated and masked to participate.
Virtual Participant: After the in-person conference, virtual participants will receive a hub site to access the recorded sessions and Q & As for leisure viewing. Virtual participants are not included in door prizes or in-person vendor floor. Instead, virtual participants will receive the digital marketing and contacts from all participating vendors. Conference prices for virtual attendees may be lower than in-person attendees. Virtual attendees will not receive CEUs for this option for participation.
Your conference planning committee will continue to monitor State and local public health recommendations for safe gatherings and update you with any changes. Our September 24th conference will have a registration cap of 100 vaccinated, masked, and safely distanced participants (likewise for 25 vendors).
UPDATE:
All in-person participants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for this event; otherwise, will be fully refunded or offered the digital access option.
